    Welcome to the School of Theology and Religious Studies

    The Bahamas Baptist University College (BBUC) follows the Christian principles and values of our Faith in the one eternal God who exists as the Trinity: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that every human being is created in the image of God and seek to share the divinely inspired and authoritative Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to enrich Spiritual life and academic life.

    The goals of the School of Theology and Religious Studies are

    • To promote inquiry and discussions towards the faith seeking an understanding of Christianity.
    • To examine the historical development, doctrines, and contemporary practices of Christianity.
    • To be compliant with quality assurance best practices with the development and delivery of academic programs that promote the mission of the Christian Church.
