Programme Description
The overall objective of this option is to provide an academic programme that enables students to prepare for entry into the profession of accountancy. The curriculum is under continual review to ensure that it is responsive to the changing requirements of the accounting profession. This programme is designed to provide graduates with high-level skills in both the specialized field of accounting and the general field of business management. Graduates will be capable of pursuing careers in professional accounting and a wide range of business fields. This programme blends a conceptual theoretical framework with practical application and covers basic discipline material through to more specialized accounting requirements (CCCJ).
